“Champion of reconditioned furs Pip Chawner, who runs vintage fur retailer Philippa London, argues the material is so versatile it can last for decades. She buys furs from the Seventies and Eighties and refashions them into jackets, gilets, throws and cushions, which gives them an even longer life.
‘There was a time, about ten years ago, when we saw fur creep back into the mainstream, and fashion designers started using it again,’ says Pip.”

Who doesn’t love a furry sheepskin gillet? I was sent this one from @philippalondon to show you….and I don’t really want to have to take it off! Stunning quality and design and just such a useful addition to your wardrobe when you don’t want to a wear a full on coat…it really is an awesome investment piece-so perhaps start rallying the troops to club together to get you one for Christmas? I’m also wearing a beautiful silk shirt from @bolamstyle – lovely and long so you can wear with skinny jeans and it covers the bumpy bits! Great quality and again- another Investment piece that will last you for years. Both these brands will be at @cotswoldfair so you can come and see for yourself and try on!
