Founded in 2015 by Pip Chawner, the brand reflects a lifelong understanding of women’s fashion, shaped by a career in buying, sourcing, and personal styling. Each piece is created with an instinct for what women want to wear and keep beyond seasons.
At the heart of Philippa London is a commitment to making in Britain, predominantly in London, working closely with skilled makers and small workshops. This proximity allows for a level of care, craftsmanship and attention to detail that defines every garment.
Collections are designed with intention – timeless, feminine silhouettes crafted from carefully sourced natural fabrics including linen, silk, cotton and leather. Wherever possible, we work with UK stock and end-of-line materials, creating limited pieces with minimal waste.
Our made-to-order approach, alongside small production runs, reflects a considered way of working — reducing excess while ensuring each piece is made to last.
Alongside the main collection, Philippa London is known for its reimagined vintage fur, restored and restyled by hand in London, giving new life to existing garments and redefining sustainable luxury.
