Philippa London is thrilled to launch its Spring/Summer collection featuring exclusive Liberty cotton lawns.

Each Liberty fabric is sourced from end‑of‑line stocks and printed in Liberty’s own printing mill near Lake Como, Italy. By using leftover fabric from Liberty’s archive, we bring new life to these iconic prints while minimising waste.

We launch the new Tulip Dress by creating  The Tulip Marine Tanguy Liberty Dress — a collaboration with art patron and activist Marine Tanguy. This limited‑edition dress is made from end of line Liberty cotton lawn, a crisp, lightweight and breathable fabric

Limited‑edition fabrics: We use end‑of‑line Liberty cotton lawn prints, meaning your dress is as unique as it is beautiful. Once these prints are gone, they’re gone. Only a limited number of dresses will ever be made in these Liberty fabrics.

Behind the Liberty Cotton Lawns: Sustainable End‑of‑Line Fabrics

Liberty cotton lawn is renowned for its finest cotton fibres, fine weave, vibrant prints and luxurious feel. The fabric begins its journey in Liberty’s London studio, where designers create intricate prints, and then it is produced at Liberty’s family‑run printing mill  near Lake Como, Italy. Before printing, the plain white cotton base cloth is prepared by a local textile mill to create the perfect canvas for each design. After printing, the fabrics are steamed, washed and finished using both rotary screen and digital techniques, ensuring rich colour and exquisite detail.

This means taking the last rolls of Liberty cotton lawn from seasonal collections and transforming them into limited‑edition garments. Using these deadstock fabrics ensures there is minimal waste and that each piece is truly unique.
